Dishwasher: Such Comfort after a Dinner Party

July 10, 2016

BEST dishwaSHERThink of a day when have planned a family dinner party. May be for Christmas or Easter or just for a weekend get together. You have invited all your family members and prepared various dishes for the party. You spend the time together, enjoy the meal, have a little family conversation. Then the dinner party is over. Your uncles, aunts and grandparents are returning to their respective houses. When the last person leaves, you finally come back to your kitchen and boom! There is a big pile of plates, platters, pans and glasses in need of wash. If you have to wash all those by yourself using only your hands, it would be a hectic job. That’s why companies have come up with a solution. Now you can do your dishes in an automatic dishwasher. Just leave your dishes in it and the machine will take care of everything.

Automatic Dishwasher

An automatic dishwasher is a machine in which you put your undone plates, glasses and everything else in a chamber, add washing detergent or liquid in another chamber and then turn it on to do the washing.

How to use a Dishwashing Machine

A dishwasher may come in different sizes. Mostly used home appliance is countertop or counterside/portable dishwashers (if you are finding the “best countertop dishwasher”, go for Danby or SPT). The way a dishwasher functions is really easy. Just bring your dishwasher closer to your sink. Watch closely that there is a connecting pipe on the back side of the dishwasher along with a power cord. Pull the pipe out. On the end of it, you will find a connector that will help you to connect the pipe with your sink faucet. First fix the connector with the faucet and then connect the pipe with the other end of the connector. There you will also find a red button which can be used to leave off any extra water if there is any. Now take the power cord and plug it in. Open the dishwasher’s door and place your things in it. On the back part of the door you will find a blank space where you have to put the dishwashing agent. Generally this blank space comes in two sizes. One is for small amount of dishwashing powder and another for large amount. In some models there is also a separate chamber for liquids. Put the agents according to your need and then flip the cover keep it away from the water. Then shut the door of the dishwasher. Now when you see, there are power switches, some other switches, a knob and a timer display. Turn on the power switch. Then set the knob on a preset setting of light wash or heavy wash. Some models have a different setting for only glass wash. Normally a light wash takes 1.15 hours to 1.30 hours. And the heavy wash takes almost 2.30 hours time. You may also find a rinse option if you need some extra wiping. So set the setting and leave it to do its task. After the designated time, it will emit some bleep sound. Then put the machine off and take out your finely washed dishes.

Such comfort, isn’t it? No more scrubbing, no more tension with your hands and fingernails.
